Effective July 30, 2026 · Pilot terms
Terms of use
These terms govern the free You’re Suspects pilot: a fictional browser-based social mystery for private, consenting groups. The pilot does not collect payment and the displayed $49 figure is a planned launch price, not an offer, charge, or subscription.
Eligibility and agreement
Hosts must be at least 18 and able to agree to these terms. Players must be at least 13; anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian’s permission and supervision. By creating a game, the host agrees to these Terms and the Privacy Policy and confirms permission to enter each player’s details.
Your content and privacy
You keep ownership of names and notes you submit and give us a limited, worldwide license to host, process, and display them only as needed to provide, secure, and support the game. Use first names or nicknames. Do not submit sensitive data, secrets, defamatory allegations, copyrighted scripts, or information about anyone under 13. Keep host and player links private.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to harass, threaten, shame, discriminate, impersonate, deceive, exploit, infringe rights, break the law, probe security, automate abusive traffic, or interfere with another game. We may suspend or delete content or access reasonably believed to be unsafe, unlawful, or disruptive.
Fiction and safety
Roles, crimes, accusations, clues, and evidence are fictional entertainment. They are not statements about real people and must not be represented as true. Hosts should stop the game if a participant is uncomfortable and adapt the tone to the group.
Ownership
The service design, software, original story, graphics, and branding belong to the service operator or licensors. You receive a personal, revocable, non-transferable right to run one private pilot game. Do not copy, resell, redistribute, scrape, or create a competing product from the protected experience.
Availability and responsibility
The pilot may change, contain errors, or be interrupted. It is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We do not exclude rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded. Otherwise, the operator is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss arising from pilot use. Hosts remain responsible for their event, participants, devices, and internet access.
Paid launch and consumer rights
No paid purchase is currently available. Before payment is enabled, checkout and a dedicated cancellation/refund policy will identify the seller, total price and taxes, content supplied, delivery timing, cancellation method, and any mandatory consumer rights. Nothing in these terms limits rights granted by applicable consumer law.
Contact and disputes
Please submit concerns through the contact form so we can investigate. Governing-law, seller-identity, registered-address, tax, and paid-refund provisions will be finalized before commercial checkout is enabled. These pilot terms do not prevent a consumer from using mandatory rights or regulators available where they live.
